We are thrilled to announce that two of our groundbreaking projects were recognized at the 4th Asia Innovation and Invention Exhibition – Hong Kong, showcasing RIVRT’s commitment to advancing innovative solutions for societal challenges.

VCare Vision Limited, co-founded by Ir. Dr. Tang Yuk-ming and Ms. Celia Chan, received the Silver Award for its Vcare Vision Training VR Device. This cutting-edge device offers personalized vision correction training for individuals with myopia, amblyopia, and strabismus, leveraging advanced virtual reality (VR) technology to deliver non-invasive and customizable solutions.

In addition, our Intelligent Non-invasive Structural Health Inspection System for Multi-part Covers also earned a Silver Award. This project, developed in collaboration with the Drainage Services Department (DSD), utilizes vibration-based detection techniques and artificial intelligence (AI) to inspect multi-part covers on main roads without causing traffic disruptions. The system analyzes vibration signals using deep learning, providing a cost-effective and efficient alternative to traditional inspection methods, minimizing traffic disruptions and reducing costs.

This annual exhibition is a premier event in Asia for showcasing groundbreaking innovations and inventions. Organized by the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association in collaboration with the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, the event attracted approximately 140 entries from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other regions across Asia.

These recognitions highlight RIVRT’s dedication to fostering impactful innovation and knowledge transfer. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the teams behind these award-winning projects for their outstanding achievements!
