VCare Showcases Cutting-Edge Innovations at InnoCarnival 2024 with the Visit of the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry

We are excited to announce VCare’s successful participation in InnoCarnival 2024, held at the Hong Kong Science Park from 26th October. The event, organized by the Innovation and Technology Commission, aims to promote a culture of innovation and technology (I&T) in Hong Kong. This year’s InnoCarnival brought together leading innovators, researchers, and startups to showcase the latest advancements in science and technology.

At our PolyU booth, we had the privilege of exhibiting some of the most innovative projects from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. One of the highlights was our Vcare Vision Training VR Device, which offers personalized vision correction training through immersive VR technology. The Vcare device uses patented microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) lens modules and training routines that help users achieve better vision correction outcomes. This project received significant attention due to its potential to improve vision correction for conditions like myopia and amblyopia.
